Energy Efficiency is one of the biggest challenges in Ukraine. Building up structures and processes to implement Energy Management and Elaboration of a Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) in Odessa is one of the goals of the new founded Energy Agency (OMEA).

E | NETWORK OF ENERGY EFFICIENT CITIES (NEEC)
Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) Open Regional Fund (ORF) for Energy Management in South-East Europe in cooperation with the cities of Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Zagreb and Tirana - since 2009

The project goal is to compile a climate change strategy and implement the proposed measures in the capitals involved. Sustainable energy action plans (SEAPs) are drawn up under the framework of the Covenant of Mayors, an initiative of the European Union.
